We’ve spent the past two decades perfecting a comprehensive onboarding process to help our franchisees get their businesses up and tutoring as quickly as possible. In fact, many of our franchisees are able to open shop in as little as 60 days. We go above and beyond to prepare our franchisees for business ownership. Here’s how we kick the process off and how we offer continuous support for years to come.
During your Welcome Call, you will be assigned a Launch Support Specialist who will work closely with you throughout your first year of operation. They will help you set bi-weekly goals, market within your community, recruit qualified tutors, find students in your area, and ultimately guide you through your Tutor Doctor journey.
During the first six weeks, you will go through self-paced online training that will teach you about the Tutor Doctor business model. It will also cover the fundamentals of marketing, sales, finance, tutor recruitment and hiring, as well as how to use our proprietary management software.
After completing six weeks of online pre-training, you will join us at the Tutor Doctor corporate office in Toronto, Canada for five days of hands-on training. You will work with other franchisees to put the skills you studied into practice and receive valuable insight from our experienced training managers.
The first 90 days of operation are critical. But don’t worry, we would never let you go it alone. Your Launch Support Specialist will work closely with you to recruit tutors, attract customers, and market your franchise within your community.
After your first year of business, you can choose the type of ongoing support that fits your needs best. Get help when and where you need it with Specialist Support or participate in our Active Coaching Program, which will give you access to one-to-one coaching to guide you through your next year of operation.
